Costa Rican Farm Day

We spent the day at a Costa Rican diary farm. We caught our lunch, collected eggs, milked the cows, rode horses and drank fresh milk. It was a great experience for the children and they learned loads of Spanish. The kids were hosted by the father's youngest daughter, Erica. She was just as spunky as Andrew. We had a great time.

Costa Rica Adventures

We have been busy and are having a great time. We miss you all and the children ask about friends daily. In the photo we are on a float trip down an easy river. We saw many animals including a troop of monkeys, bats, and a sloth. The people in rural Costa Rica are so friendly and nice. It actually reminds me of Oklahoma lots of cattle ranching and friendly people. The only thing I would have done different is pack lighter!!! More later....

Tabacon

We had a great time yesterday at the hot springs. My only regret I didn't bring my camera because I didn't want to keep up with it. We woke up this morning with massive raining. At breakfast this morning we saw a lizard shaped like a leaf. The boys were in awe but again I didn't have my camera. I am starting to see a recurring theme about being prepared. We are planning on hiking and visiting the hot springs again today. Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend with family and friends!! Maybe next time we will have some pictures.

Thanksgiving in an airport

The airport has very low traffic today which has been nice the children. We have had lots of fun people watching and speculating where everyone is headed. So many families traveling today. I am grateful for all the wonderful people in our lives. Now off to find some sort of turkey in the airport!! Yum! Yum!

Costa Rica bound!

Wow! We are all busy packing and getting ready to leave tomorrow. We will miss you all!! I have set this up to share pictures and keep in touch. I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
